Industry training
I have been training in the industry began in the 29/11/2010 to 29/04/2011 in
period of 5 months. I choose to undergo industrial training at the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris(UPSI). I have placed in the Division of Academic Development
and Quality (BPAQ) to undergo industrial training until the end of training and are assigned
as an assistant director (PA) BPAQ.
There 12 people all in BPAQ staff, starting withDr.Shakinaz bt Desa. as Directors BPAQ Dr. Kamarudin Musa as deputy director (policy and quality),Dr. Ahmad Jazimin (head of Teaching and Training Industry Connect), En.Ismail Man as Deputy Registrar, Mrs.. Shakila Mohd Idris (Assistant Registrar), Pn.Zaharah Abdul Mobin (Pen.Peg.Tek.Maklumat) En.Ahmad Tarmizi Al Ash'ari (Assistant Registrar), and the Clerk of En.Ahmad Haffiez Abdul Latiff, Pn.Zakiah Hanum,Pn.NorLizawaty Shamsudin, Pn. Norliana Mohli, Pn.NurAlina Mohd Fuzi and finally En.Mohd Mohd Firdaus Yahya.
Most of the activities carried out by PPQ was focused on study Programmes
and updating of courses in order to review and update courses offered at all the Faculties. For the administration staff,
Quality Control Circle (QCC) workshops were held in order to Expose management staff and support staff to Quality Assurance Concepts
and to look back and review the existing work systems to determine Whether changes are required. These workshops also exposed the participants
to Methodologies and implementation of QCC. PPQ was also appointed by the Quality Assurance Division, Department of Higher Education to organize
and facilitate a workshop for Public Higher Educational Institutions (PHEIs) for Teacher Education Quality Assurance. At this workshop,
education lecturers representing the various Faculties at PHEIs discussed, reviewed and updated PHEIs Code of Quality Assurance was Initiating Utara
developed by the Quality Assurance Division, Department of Higher Education.
During industrial training here, I handle a lot of work - office work such as photocopying documents, answering phone calls, take and send a letter, record the letter received, keep schedules and other directors - other.
I also do the job - job as a secretary to take minutes, prepare a memo,
calling members to attend the meeting
and reminded the directors to attend meetings or events by the time he had set.
